NASCAR released the tentative weekend schedule and format for the 2025 Clash exhibition race at Bowman Gray Stadium on Thursday afternoon. The weekend schedule gave teams and fans the first look at how the entire weekend will play out at the historic facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

“The Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars” is set to run one of its biggest races of the season this weekend. The annual “Fall Brawl” will take place at North Carolina’s famous Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday, November 9, and it’s live on FloRacing. A strong field of Modifieds will descend on North Wilkesboro Speedway (NC) on Saturday October 19th for “The Finale” at North Wilkesboro Speedway. The SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic’s Championship race coincides with the CARS Tour title races giving the fans three races that crown series’ champions on one day.

A long, grueling season for the zMAX CARS Tour will conclude with two champions being crowned at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday evening.

Three-time SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic champion Burt Myers scored his first win of 2024, in the Battle of SOBO, on Hitachi Energy Power-Up Raceday, Saturday at South Boston Speedway in Virginia. Myers, from Walnut Cove, NC, took the lead for the second and last time during a restart on lap 86 from Mike Speeney, from Newtown, PA. The Citrusafe Grill Cleaners number-1 then held off Ryan Newman, from South Bend, IN, and Jake Crum, from Statesville, NC, for the victory, his first at the southern Virginia race track.

Following a topsy-turvy elimination race at the Charlotte Roval, it appeared that two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano was eliminated from the Round of Eight. But now that is no longer the case. Logano will move on, and Alex Bowman has been eliminated following a disqualification in post-race technical inspection. Bowman’s No. 48 for Hendrick Motorsports was found to be too light at the scales following the race.

The CARS Tour season is down to just two races, with two drivers vying for the right to call themselves a champion. It’s the showdown everyone has been hoping for with Hampton, Virginia’s Connor Hall battling Chesapeake, Virginia’s Brenden “Butterbean” Queen, with just one point separating these two bitter rivals heading into Saturday’s showdown at Tri-County Speedway.
